📌 Sticky messages

Keep a message at the bottom of a channel, like rules for a channel or how to use it.

Set it up

Go to Channels → Sticky messages, pick a channel and write the message:

• Text: just your text (sent as a simple embed).
• Embed: the full embed builder, with title, color, fields, images and footer.

Then choose when it moves down: a minimum wait and a number of new messages. Vaqun posts it again only when both have happened since the last copy. It deletes the old copy and posts a new one, so it's always the last message.

New and edited messages are posted right away. Removing one (or turning sticky messages off) takes the posted copy down.

FAQ

Why not every message? Reposting on every single message would spam the channel and hit Discord's limits. The wait and the message count keep it calm. The shortest wait is 5 seconds.

Does it survive a restart? Yes. Vaqun remembers which message is the current copy, so it never leaves a duplicate behind.
