⌨️ Using commands

Every Vaqun command has two forms: a slash command and a prefix command. They do the same thing.

Slash commands

Type / in Discord and pick a Vaqun command. Discord shows each option as you fill it in, and tells you which ones are required.

Prefix commands

Start a message with Vaqun's prefix, . by default, followed by the command: .avatar, .ban @someone spam. Some commands also have short aliases, like .av for .avatar. A server's admins can change the prefix under General or with /config prefix. Mentioning Vaqun also works as a prefix.

Reading a command's usage

On the Commands page, <option> is required and [option] is optional. Commands with subcommands, like /config, list each one separately.

Permissions

Moderation and server-settings commands need the matching Discord permission, both for you and for Vaqun (for example Ban Members for /ban). A server can change who may use each command under Command access.
