🚀 Quick start

From zero to a configured server in a few minutes.

1. Log in

Click Log in at the top of this site and sign in with Discord. Vaqun only asks to see your name and the servers you're in.

2. Add Vaqun to a server

Open Servers. Servers where you have the Manage Server permission appear there. Pick one: if Vaqun isn't in it yet, you'll be sent to Discord to add it, with the permissions it needs already selected.

3. Open the server's settings

Back on Servers, open the server. The sidebar lists everything you can set up. Only people with Manage Server in that server can change these settings.

4. Choose the language and prefix

Under General, pick the language Vaqun speaks in this server (by default, the server's own Discord language) and the prefix for text commands (. by default).

5. Set up the essentials

A good first set:

1. Autoroles, so new members get a role as soon as they join. See Autoroles.
2. AutoMod presets, to block slurs, sexual content or profanity. See AutoMod.
3. Server logs, to see what happens while you're away. See Server logs.

6. Try it

Type /help in any channel. It links to the dashboard, the Commands page and these docs.

Changes you save on the dashboard reach Vaqun within seconds; there's nothing to restart.
