Answers to the questions that come up most.

Is Vaqun free?

Yes. Everything in these docs works on the free plan unless it's marked Premium. Premium raises limits and unlocks extras. It can be given to a whole server, or to one person (for their own profile card). /premium shows what a server or you have.

Which languages does Vaqun speak?

English and Spanish. Vaqun uses the server's Discord language automatically; you can set it yourself under General or with /config language.

I can't see a server on the dashboard.

You need the Manage Server permission in that server. Only its settings are protected this way; Vaqun's commands work for everyone according to their own permissions.

Vaqun can't give (or remove) a role.

Vaqun needs the Manage Roles permission, and its role must be above the role in Server Settings → Roles. Roles managed by integrations (bots' own roles, the booster role) can't be given by anyone.

A slash command doesn't show up for me.

Discord hides moderation commands from members without the matching permission (for example /ban without Ban Members). Server admins can change that in Server Settings → Integrations → Vaqun, and the prefix version (.ban) works either way.

A command says it's blocked.

The server may have a rule for that command under Command access: only some channels, roles or times, or a cooldown. Ask a server admin.

Does Vaqun read or store our messages?

Vaqun reads messages as they arrive to run commands and features like levels, but it doesn't store their content. The privacy policy has the details.

I changed a setting. When does it apply?

Within seconds. There's nothing to restart.
